Christa Harader

Communications Director

Christa works with the Development and Communications team to create, refine, and execute the organization’s communication strategy. They manage a small team to produce an impactful, year-round suite of digital, print and multimedia collateral and fresh, timely messaging to inspire all our audiences to support our work and engage with the organization. Previously, they worked as a grant writer for the organization to craft proposals for institutional funding in close collaboration with program staff across the organization’s initiatives.

In their free time, they write and edit comics. They received a BA in English Literature from the University of Rhode Island and a MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in creative nonfiction from Goddard College.
