This Giving Tuesday, we’re celebrating Sustainable Conservation’s core value: collaboration.
Working together to protect our natural resources, food system, and community health is how we solve our toughest environmental challenges. Your gift this year supports Sustainable Conservation’s collaborative solutions for deep drought reserves, healthy farm soils, resilient habitats, and safe drinking water.
If you have already made a gift to Sustainable Conservation this year, thank you for your generous support! If you haven’t yet, this Giving Tuesday is the perfect time to join us. All new and increased gifts will be matched by a generous, long-time donor.
With your support, we can ensure California’s climate resilience. Our coalitions doubled California’s on-farm recharge efforts over the past six years to make it a mainstream drought solution. The restoration permits we help put in place can speed vital habitat restoration projects’ approval tenfold and have been used over 2,500 times. Our farm nutrient and irrigation solutions prevent 2.9 million pounds of nitrogen from entering our drinking water every year. And, we’re uncovering new ways to boost our soil health with the farming and research community.
Sustainable Conservation’s relationships span decades and sectors. We listen to as many perspectives as possible, from farmers and concerned community members to scientists and state policymakers, to ensure our environmental solutions make sense for our ecosystems, economies, and health.
We’re proud of the lasting relationships we’ve built, and we can’t do this work without you, our community of supporters, partners and friends.
This Giving Tuesday, your gift supports collaborative solutions for climate resilience that work, and last.
Thank you,
Ashley Boren
