This past week marked the California Farm Bureau Federation’s 96th Annual Meeting, during which the 2014 California Leopold Conservation Award recipient, Full Belly Farm, was honored.
Congratulations to Full Belly Farm for being named the recipient of the 2014 California Leopold Conservation Award! The award honors private landowners for sound stewardship.
Last week, the Sustainable Conservation team trekked over to Lodi to tour the LangeTwins Winery and Vineyards. Run by twin brothers Brad and Randy, this winery and vineyard was the first recipient of the California Leopold Conservation Award.
Sustainable Conservation, Sand County Foundation and the California Farm Bureau Federation are accepting applications for the 2014 California Leopold Conservation Award. The deadline is July 11th.
